A stylish new cutting-edge curved roof manufacturing facility in Oxfordshire delivered on time.
This new 2,300 sq m single-storey, steel-framed building has a manufacturing base, offices and mezzanine floor. The facility has been built to a high standard both in design and construction and incorporates a curved roof, reflective glazing and horizontal high gloss panels. Beard took all appropriate measures to ensure that the building was completed on time to the client’s satisfaction.
- Meeting client deadlines and expectations
- Minimising disruption
- Complex design
Maintaining a good rapport with the design team and careful planning were crucial to our team when meeting the client’s goals and producing a high quality facility. Phasing the works programme ensured that construction was completed on time and that it met the client’s production testing and start-up schedules. We were happy for the fit out contractor to work closely alongside us so that the client could see the building earlier. Minimising noise pollution and contamination took careful planning. Two 33.5 metre-long girders were also installed for the gantry crane to overcome the complexity of the design.
“This is the most significant development taking place in Chipping Norton this year. Owen Mumford’s new building reaches a high exacting standard both in design and construction incorporating a curved roof, horizontal high gloss panels and reflective glazing.”
