  • St John's School, Leatherhead church and school

The refurbishment and repair of a school chapel and the construction of a new attached entrance pavilion.

Project

The new building provides a high quality facility to be used for a variety of purposes by both staff and students, including arts, events and academia. Some of the works and features of the building are stone repairs, acoustic applied finishes, hardwood timber floors and specialist joinery.

Challenges

  • Working in a live school environment where noise and works disruption had to be segregated and minimised

Solutions

The project team were able to successfully minimise the impact of the construction works on the school through careful project planning and co-ordination of construction works.

“Thanks to everyone for all of the hard work which has gone into the project. This was a real team effort by all which has produced a great result.”
