Beard awarded Gold and President's Award by RoSPA

We were delighted to receive a Gold Award for the 13th consecutive year, and a President’s Award for the 3rd consecutive year, at the RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Health and Safety Awards 2026!

The RoSPA Awards celebrate organisations that show outstanding dedication to preventing accidents, reducing harm and continuously raising health and safety standards. This year marked the 70th anniversary of the awards, and to be recognised within that legacy is something we're incredibly proud of.

At Beard, our approach to health and safety goes above and beyond compliance. It shapes how we think, how we plan and how we behave on every project and at every stage.

That's why we take the time to pause, reflect and share best practice at company-wide Safety Stand Down events. Recently, site teams and valued supply chain partners downed tools for a session designed to reinforce the high safety standards we maintain across our projects.

Teams discussed summer working and heat exposure, correct PPE, support for temporary staff, housekeeping, welfare facilities, and what 'good' looks like for people and processes.

We also took a moment to celebrate recent successes, and thank everyone who helps us to reduce the chance of accidents on site.

Maintaining high-quality working environments is a key priority at Beard. Our recent recognition at the RoSPA awards is a testament to this core commitment: ensuring our people and partners get home safely at the end of every single working day.
