Construction At any time, you will find us working on approximately 50+ sites across southern England, each one presenting unique challenges. We work to deliver quality projects and turnkey maintenance services. To do this, we need people who can bring fresh thinking and imagination on one hand; and the commercial ability to manage people, budgets and costs on the other.
Business Development and Marketing
Business Development and Marketing Working with senior managers to develop and implement growth opportunities for the business. Looking for and targeting new work streams to secure new projects and build relationships. Communicating, both internally and externally with staff and customers; new and existing. Creative and personable you will enjoy talking to and meeting new people.
Finance Each project we’re working on has numerous third parties and suppliers to keep engaged, satisfying deadlines to ensure that projects run smoothly. With constant pressure on margins, construction is a fiercely competitive sector in which to work and try to gain a business advantage. As a crucial driver in our continued success and performance, finance offers staff the opportunity to make a real contribution to our business, and keep budgets on track.
Commercial Every part of a building project has a cost, with every delay having a financial implication. Each decision has an impact on customer satisfaction. With a watching brief on these, and other critical issues, our commercial team has one objective: to deliver a great and quality project, on time, on budget, without defects. The work they do is essential to maintaining our position in the market place as a provider of choice.
Support and Admin
Support and Admin Providing essential support to operational teams, sites and individuals; you might be dealing with enquiries from other professionals, helping employees with training or HR issues, or transporting equipment and plant to site. The work varies, but our key requirements don’t: you need to have common sense and a sense of humour, be helpful and resourceful, and above all be able to use your initiative and take ownership.
A job, isn’t just a job when you are happy and I believe Beard naturally make the workplace one where you want to come to every morning, not one you have to come to.
