Beard was recently awarded The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award for the 12th consecutive year, and the President's Award for the third consecutive year. We're proud to have been recognised once again for our enduring commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing across every level of our business.
RoSPA’s Gold Awards are internationally respected accolades, awarded only to organisations that demonstrate exceptional health and safety performance. To achieve this standard year after year reflects not just rigorous standards, but a deeply embedded culture of safety that puts people first.
What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that the President’s Award was presented to Beard as an entire company, rather than to a single region or division. This distinction places us among a select few in the construction sector - a testament to our unified, company-wide approach to creating safer, healthier workplaces.

Maintaining our high standards is only possible because of the people behind the scenes - and on site - who embed a culture of safety within every decision made and every action taken. From proactive risk management to continuous education and leadership engagement, our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) team ensure that everyone who steps onto a Beard site goes home safe, every day.
Receiving the RoSPA Gold and President’s Awards for the twelfth time confirms what we already know: our people are leading the way in shaping a safer future for construction.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
