Procured through the Crown Commercial framework Beard has secured a place on the GPA Minor Works and Small Projects framework for the South of England.
The framework is for an initial 3-year period with an option to extend up to a maximum term of five years valued at £166m. Works are procured through a Taxi rank system, up to a value of £3m.
The framework will deliver property and workplace solutions across the government estates, which will allow GPA to drive benefits through more efficient and effective use of the estate.
The framework priorities are:
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the government estate
- Enhancing commercial expertise within government property to maximise capital receipts
- Providing innovative and flexible property solutions to support department in business change and workforce transformation
- Improving working environments on the government estate, supporting new ways of working, driving productivity and engagement
