The MoJ estate includes 118 public and privately run prison sites, over 400 probation properties and 340 courts and tribunals. It also comprises 89 approved premises, prison officers quarters, 13 judges lodgings, immigration removal centres and detention centres, border force facilities, UK visa and immigration offices and other administrative and central government buildings.
Specifically, the new frameworks will support the delivery of the authority’s construction works to meet these objectives by enabling better capital and whole-life cycle costs; ensuring that projects are delivered to agreed timescales and benchmarks, and better-quality outcomes.
The Frameworks will also allow the Authority to deliver the targets set out in the Government Construction Strategy 2016-2020 and Construction 2025 policy.
