The structure is steel frame with traditional masonry and insulation. There are 3 types of cladding: brick facing elevations, off white render, and cedar cladding with aluminium windows throughout.

Externally the site includes a large car park with rain water drainage throughout.

The project achieved BREEAM Excellent.

Challenges & Solutions

Local school

The site was located directly opposite an operational school. Our entrance to the site was also opposite to the school’s entrance on a main road.

Our Project Manager managed a stream of frequent communication with the school and local residential housing estate. He set up a facebook page containing a live stream of updates which was received extremely positively.

A notice board was utilised opposite the school to display updates and notifications.
