Prior to Beard beginning work, the original structures were demolished and the concrete slab was removed. This has since been recycled on-site and used as aggregate material for under the building footprint and the hard landscaped areas.

The new pavilion is constructed using steel frame and both internal blockwork and external brickwork.
The building is finished with a single ply roof and photovoltaic solar panels. The new pavilion provides changing rooms, a large function room and a kitchen/bar.
Externally the grounds include two football pitches and a full-size cricket pitch.
