CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

Access restrictions, noise and disruption

Due to the sensitive nature of the scheme, maintaining noise levels and keeping services available for residents was essential. For example, we installed temporary laundry facilities and ensured people were informed of changes to access routes via regular letter drops and newsletters. Communication was regular and informative to reduce stress and give early warning notice. We segregated working areas and created safe walking zones so the housing could remain open.
